Nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain Range and surrounded by wineries, The Vineyard Country House features an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and patios overlooking the garden. Beautiful setting in a lush garden and vineyard, nice and cosy sitting place outside the room, huge and nice living room for shared using with other guests. Louise and her staff are sooo welcoming and I felt very much at ease and ‚at home‘ in Louise‘s guesthouse. Very nice breakfast options. Highly recommended!

Lush, green gardens and comfortable accommodation await guests at this hotel, conveniently located halfway between Cape Town and the Garden Route, in the town of Montagu. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Montagu Hotel and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. First and foremost, I have to commend the staff for their exceptional service. From the moment I was greeted with a warm welcome, I was made to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly, attentive manner made a difference. The food at the hotel was delicious. Each meal was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, which were a perfect way to start each day. The dinners were also a highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from. The tranquil gardens surrounding the hotel were a true oasis of calm. It was lovely to take a stroll through the gardens and simply relax and unwind in such a peaceful setting. I even stayed in one day just to enjoy the serene calmness of the place! Overall, I cannot recommend the Montagu Country Hotel highly enough. The staff, the food, and the tranquil gardens all exceeded my expectations, and I will be returning in the future. It truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Montagu.

Located in the heart of Montagu, this lodge offers non-smoking rooms and a gourmet restaurant serving game dishes. Free parking is available. Cape Town is a 2-hour drive away. Very comfortable and well equipped room Mimosa Lodge offers a guided tour map for Montagu, so we walked for an hour or so and we saw all places of interest which are well described. Super idea and a very nice walk! But the very best was evening dinner: fine dining which has been something else. Wonderful!

Perfect host and service. Treatments (facial and massage) were excellent. Super friendly. Rooms and location brandnew, clean and stylish! Breakfast was prepared like for the Royals and delicious. Fully recommended.

You will lack nothing … everything works … one of the best equipped self catering cottages we have encountered … it’s MUCH MUCH more than a cottage … the owner Linda is the epitome of service excellence … friendly, caring, attentive and generous … and so are the staff … this is a one of a kind stay …
