Our stay at Moya was amazing. The location is so so beautiful, and the perfect place to relax before or after your safari. Rudo, Gary, and their amazing colleagues took such good care of us and arranged a ton of activities, even at very short notice. Delicious breakfast, warm welcome, true luxury!

We stayed at this lodge for 5 days in October and it was truly the best experience. The lodge itself is very modern, beautifully decorated and the outdoor shower is such a welcome addition. Annie was amazing - she helped co-ordinate and book all of the activities we did and helped us navigate and change/update our plans as a result of weather. Annie gave us great recommendations and answered all of our questions. The food was a real highlight of the trip - from the fresh fruit starter at breakfast to the three course meal in the evening. We cannot recommend this place enough - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay in South Africa amazing and we really appreciated it.

Our stay and safari experience at Nyala was absolutely amazing! The traditional rondavel was quite spacious, with all the amenities and tea, coffee and snacks included. Big and comfortable bed. The bathroom had an inside and outside showers, a bath, and two sinks. It was also sooo good to sit inside on comfy armchairs with a cup of coffee. The interior was just fantastic!
The territory of the lodge is huge, with a cozy fireplace, terrace, swimming pool, and a stunning view on the pond. Every night we saw elephant herds coming to drink fresh water.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, we even got upgraded to the rondavel with mosquito net as my wife was pregnant and afraid of mosquitoes.
The food was beyond expectations, too! Every meal was like we were in a fancy restaurant, really fresh and delicious. The portions were so big we couldn’t eat everything.
Safari with our guide Nicholle was absolutely amazing. She is a real animal pathfinder! We saw 4 out of big-5, as well as many birds, giraffes, hares and even tortoises! We will never forget how we were chasing buffalo family! It is also valuable that we were offered an extra safari every time there was info about nearby animals. We really appreciate the professionalism of Nicholle

A waring to be patient of the access roads, if driving in. Tri-axle bulk transporters seem to use every conceivable road, many of which are hilly and not endowed with many safe and legal overtaking opportunities.

Unpretentious and community driven.
Unpretentious and community driven. All people united with a common cause for good. Hoedspruit is diverse subtle and unassuming - one of Africa’s best kept secrets and one well worth preserving 👍 Who would have thought?
As a self catering facility, everything we could need was provided. The linen and towels were incredibly soft and of a high standard. The views were stunning and the whole facility is in an incredibly central location to the main attractions of the area.
They manufacture their soaps etc. on site and use locally sourced ingredients, and this is just one of the brilliant added extras on site!
The service and staff were extremely wonderful at this 5-villa boutique hotel. They exude customer service and Sabine (mgr) was always helpful and very responsive. Wild Blue Lodge is a must stay in South Africa and the place is nettled in the most spectacular surroundings (one with nature). All staff members are very on-hands and helpful to all guests (breakfast/dinner amazing!!)
The place is secure, welcoming, our option was self catering and we had access to anything we needed for self catering stay, the quietness of the area, being surrounded by beautifu nature, fireplace, pool area, the kids also liked their room, perfect wi fi conection, very clean, nice shower and bathtub, we really enjoyed, very nice place for a family to enjoy stay in Hoedspruit.
Amazing experience and very exclusive. My family (2 childrens and 2 adults) were very well accommodate and with a 5 start service all the time.
The resort caters to only a handful of guests, ensuring an atmosphere of tranquility and exclusivity. We felt as if we had our own private Lodge with an air of serenity that permeated every corner.
The hot tub! It was definitely the highlight of our stay. The tents are very comfortable and well kitted out. Just like staying in a hotel, but the walls and roof of the room are tent. The bathroom is very spacious with excellent water pressure and hot water on demand. Gas stove meant we weren’t affected by loadshedding at all.
Staff was very friendly and collection of keys was super fast! Rooms were very clean and super comfortable. Location close to restaurants makes it a definite winner! Added touch of tea and coffee supplied was great for a self catering unit. Wifi was strong and I would definitely recommend the place for the business traveller.
The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was very well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The vistas from the hotel were breathtakingly beautiful. The food was simply delicious and of extraordinary quality. Overall, it was the most amazing stay during our trip in SA.
Great property on a quiet street in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen very well equipped. Really enjoyed the outdoor shower. Great WiFi connection. During our stay we had bushbabies, warthog, bushbock and wide variety of birds visit the house.
Breakfast was a normal hotel/lodge breakfast except the servicing of it is done in a very special way to feel that you are home and very welcomed to enjoy.
However, the reception and entire staff is beyond imagination on their hospitality.
The welcoming and professional staff made our days and let us forget the dated accommodation itself
Caroline the receptionist and Dudu the chef are gems and worked before at 4 and 5 star graded lodges.
So you get best service and food.
Situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate made it seem like we were really 'away' from things although it was so conveniently close to town. The room was perfect and we will definitely book there again when we travel to Hoedspruit.
The breakfast was superb, made upon order of your choice... The host is very hands on and friendly... Made my stay in Hoedspruit very enjoyable, as he also helped with activities during the stay without a hassle...
Great safari lodge, with well appointed facilities and extremely good value for value.
The host Fabian made us feel comfortable and we would definitely be returning when we are in Hoedspruit.
Amazing and friendly staff! This was the best place we stayed in Hoedspruit on our honeymoon. Very clean rooms and amazing breakfast. Would definitely recommend
